CSR is one of the core functional department in IDFC FIRST Bharat Ltd., constantly support the entire operations and its related activities.
The purpose of this document is to clearly articulate the detailed procedure that will be followed by Program Manager/ Regional CSR Team for performing their roles as per the delegation of power prescribed by CSR department.
The scope of CSR is to improve the healthy life, safeguarding the environment, increasing the economic activities though livestock protection, Empowering the clients in social aspects and Eradication of hunger in society.
The major functions performed by the CSR Department as follows
There are four type of camps is being performed by the department on basis of circumstance and field requirement like Health, Environment, Veterinary & Charity Programs.
Under CSR Department Health camps are organized in all of our IFBL Branches which covers 5 States and 1 union Territory in India. It was made possible through our strategic tie ups with most reputed Hospitals in 10 IFBL Regions.
The Hospitals are chosen based on their benevolent attitude & Government Insurance Schemes.

After Screening, the beneficiaries who are referred to Hospital for further treatment, will be sent to the concerned Hospitals and their surgery expenses will be covered under Government Schemes, District Blind Control Society or with maximum possible Discounts.
The purpose of giving free tree saplings is not only to protect the environment but also to economically benefit their family by giving them free teak, amla and other tree saplings.
Apart from doing health camps, we also provide best Veterinary Health care services to their livestock also through our tie ups with Government Veterinary Hospitals in Tamilnadu.

In addition to the Regular CSR Health & Environment camps, we also organize Charity programs for poor, old age, Destitute persons, to children who are either physically or mentally challenged which includes Diwali, Christmas Celebrations etc.
The purpose is to make the women to aware of their self and their role in the society. further to educate on make use of their availed loan in a better way which results in obtaining the maximum benefit out of it.
Under Women Empowerment, we organize 4 types of Programs - Federation leader Meetings, Financial Literacy Programs, International Women's Day Celebrations and International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
The main purpose of Organizing FLMs is to create an awareness among general public on various aspects like the importance of Centre meeting, loan utilization etc.
Financial literacy is the possession of the set of skills and knowledge that allows an individual to make informed and effective decisions with all of their financial resources. it focuses on the ability to manage personal finance matters in an efficient manner, and it includes the knowledge of making appropriate decisions about personal finance such as investing, insurance, real estate, paying for college, budgeting, retirement and tax planning.
Every year, on March 8, International Women's Day Celebration is celebrated. .It amins to create awareness among general public regarding women rights, Usage of Helmet, Environmental awareness and current issues that continuously exploits women and the ways to tackle them.
Every year, on November 25, we organize International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women in all of our IFBL Regions through which we try to eliminate violence against women and fortify them with the strategies to resist the domestic violence enforced on them.
The BDS programs are organized to enrich our clients and develop their business through various business tactics and make them successful in their business endeavors. It includes both vocational skill based live Demonstrations and theoretical sessions.
Free food (Annadhanam) is given to Old Age People, orphans, mentally disabled, street dwellers, destitute people and also given in the places of Worships on daily basis.
